Hudson Valley Contesters & DXers 

HVCDX members are eligible for contest participation awards when operating the following contests during each contest season.  The award is based on the total scores from each of the following contests:

CQ WW-SSB, CQ WW-CW, SS CW, SS SSB, ARRL 160, ARRL 10, ARRL DX CW, ARRL DX SSB, CQ 160 CW, WPX SSB, WPX CW

+Extra Credit Points (Scroll Down for Details)

Levels: 

Ironman: 2.5 + Million points
Gold: 1.5  - 2.5 Million points
 Silver: 500 - 1.5 Million points
Bronze: 200 - 500K points

 

To be eligible for this award the following is required for any of the above contests:

  • Score must be reported to the 3830scores.com website
  • Score must be submitted to the contest sponsoring organization
  • Score reported on the HVCDX  email reflectior

Extra Credit Points:

Members are participating in events that are used for "extra credit" on the yearly club award (Various QSO Parties, weekly contests, smaller contests, etc)

Just send each month by the 5th of the month W2XL (Contest Chairman) an e-mail saying :

Callsign Month scores xx,xxx points X events.

Example: "W2XXX Oct. scores 25,865 points 6 events
