PRESENTATION BANQUET

Click to view larger pictureThe American Radio Relay League's Great Lakes Division Director, George Race, WB8BGY (center), presented GLARR President G.O. Smith, N8MMF (right) with the ARRL's Affiliated Club Certificate at our first member banquet on September 28, 1996. Also representing the ARRL at the presentation was Affiliated Club Coordinator, Mike Pearsall, N8MP (left).

Following dinner at Walli's East restaurant in Flint, Michigan, members of GLARR, their guests and spouses, were addressed by WB8BGY. George congratulated GLARR for its goal of promoting the Amateur Radio Service as a hobby and a public service.
