MINI ATX CASE

New PC's that you either buy or build now will use an ATX type case. This has a pre cut plate to accept the motherboards I/O connections. This saves in the main the use of back panel blanking plates.

SERVER FULL TOWER CASE

19" Server style cases, will be of a very robust construction and made of heavy gauge metal. They are designed and built to last a lifetime. They are generally measured in units called a "U" this is equal to 1"   A 4U will therefore be 4" in height. These type of cases will also often have a lockable front panel cover to prevent a person from tampering with the system. They would generally be mounted in a 19" rack cabinet with other equipment.
