Apart from Lords, and the North American Dinner at Washington, DC there are a number of other well-established social functions within the club. The West Coast Dinner is one example. Tom, K6TS took his camera along this year to provide us with some great pictures.

Vic, K2VCO organised the event this year at the Visalia DX Convention in May. Vic reports that 37 members and guests attended, including a complete table for the K5AX delegation! The guest speaker was Dick Frey, K4XU. Dick gave a fascinating talk on the subjsct of MOSFET RF amplifiers. Clearly Dick did a great job, because Vic says that his wife, Lise didn't know about the subject and found it entertaining!

The door prize was a beautifully hand crafted Swedish hand-key which found a very grateful and appreciative home with a key enthusiast.
