Hawaiian Airlines

Introduction

Hawaiian Airlines is the largest airline operating at Honolulu International Airport. All airline operations communications take place on a 400 MHz LTR trunked radio system.

System Layout

The Hawaiian Airlines LTR radio system is comprised of a single site with three frequencies. The information below is specific for Honolulu International Airport only.

System Users

All airline ground personnel -- ticket, gate, and ramp agents use this system.

Any scanner with LTR trunking capability can be used to monitor this system.

System Frequencies

The following page lists system frequencies in LCN order. Frequencies must be programmed in the correct channel slot as indicated in order to hear system traffic. Failure to do this will result in your scanner tuning into a wrong transmission or completely miss a transmission altogether.
