ARCWV VE Team Examinations and Classes

The ARCWV VE Team is composed of ARRL certified Volunteer Examiners. Classes are held periodically to help those interested in amateur radio to obtain their license. Contact Pattilynne, KM4ZGB, at 251-725-2735 for more information or to sign up for a future Technician license class. An exam session is usually held the week following the class.

2026 Classes for the entry level Technician amateur radio license are offered in the Spring and Fall at Westminster Village and everyone is welcome to attend but class size is limited, so sign up early. A Radio Technology Camp for youth is also offered in the summer. See the flyer below for more information.

Be advised that the 2026 exam sessions will likely require an online registration. Check back for details. Dates for exams at Westminster Village in 2026 will be Jan 17, Mar 21, May 16, Jul 18, Sep 19, and Nov 21.

If you are interested in taking any amateur radio examination on the above dates, please contact the ARCWV Exam Session Manager, Ron Thomas, N4RT, at [email protected] or via cell phone at 850-339-3004. ARRL VEC Exams are $15 for adults and $5 for youth. Please bring exact change. We limit each exam session to six candidates and walk-ins are NOT accepted. You must register at least one week in advance for an exam session. A campus map to guide you to the "Bayside Club" exam location is provided below.

The Baldwin County ARC VE Team also holds exam sessions in the months not scheduled at ARCWV. For further information, please go to the Baldwin County ARC web site at www.N4MZ.com
