Send bereavement cards to those members/associate members who have lost a spouse/partner who have lived in the same household or would have lived in the same household had they been well (after all, some people might be in care homes, etc.) There might occasionally be an extended family member (ex. parent) who is living with one of our members. It's appropriate to send a card at this time as well.

We appreciate it when members keep us informed of any illnesses/bereavements, so that we can acknowledge them and give our support. The Friendship Committee acts on behalf of BCYLARA. This should not stop those of us who know members personally from sending individual cards as well.
