Fully Automated Radio Telescopes
"Solar Flux Monitors"


Records the solar radio emission strength at 10.7cm wavelength daily while sun is above the horizon. This continous monitoring is interrupted each day to take three precise measurements of the solar flux density. These measurements constitute the 10.7cm Solar Flux index.

Location: Drive approx. 12km south of Penticton on Hwy 97, turning right onto White Lake Rd. for about 9km.

A YL DXpedition, made up of 14 ladies, will be activated on the Falkland Islands this January 17 - 31, 2009.
