Fully Automated Radio Telescopes
"Solar Flux Monitors"


Records the solar radio emission strength at 10.7cm wavelength daily while sun is above the horizon. This continous monitoring is interrupted each day to take three precise measurements of the solar flux density. These measurements constitute the 10.7cm Solar Flux index.

Location: Drive approx. 12km south of Penticton on Hwy 97, turning right onto White Lake Rd. for about 9km.

DXCC #1 Honor Roll with 343 DXCC & 5BDXCC with 12, 17 and 30 meter endorsements. Ann is an Electronics Engineer and has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering.

Dxpedition departure date is Feb. 28, 2008, arriving Clipperton March 6+-. Planning to operate 10 to 12 days depending on conditions.
