Has anyone out there done any serious evaluation of PC133 clocks, using x8
DIMMs. There seems to be some evidence that PC133 x8 DIMMs, with the
original PC100 topology, may have a problem when operating at 133MHz. This
problem seems to be related to the unbalanced nature of the clock tree, and
resonance of a 133MHz harmonic component. There are various solutions
identified which consist of filters and auxiliary termination on the
motherboard. I am wondering if anyone has developed a more elegant
solution, or can suggest one.
