Here is some hobbies and other things that keep me busy!

  • Motorcycles- I was 18 when I got my first MC, Have owned 7 Bikes,  Ducati 250, 69 Triumph Bonneville and two other Bonneville's, Suzuki 750, Honda 550 4  and ,  and currently ride a Harley Davidson Sportster. Living in the foot hills gives me fast access to all kinds of riding. 

  • Guitars & Music- Well In this category is my only daily exercise. Well almost! I have had a guitar since I was a teen I still have a Nylon Acoustic that I got in the early 70's. but like a lot of things it took a stretch of in activity. A little over 15 years ago I started back. I bought a electric and a amp of coarse. Well today I have seven electrics, one steal acoustic, One travel guitar, and  seven amps. Yes I do practice daily even if only for 15 minutes. but most of the time because I keep the travel guitar down by couch in the living room. I get 30 minutes or a hour . Some times more when I get in the mood!  I find it relaxing and a nice change  to go somewhere  that is totally different.

  • Gardening-  I have a small vegetable garden area about 25ft. x30ft. , but the remaining 13 Acers keeps me busy . I have some Peach , Pair , Plum, Apple, trees and planting this year some Figs. I have ,thanks to mother nature,  two Persimmon trees, a walnut and plenty of Muscatine. Living out in the country side  weed control is also a  full time project.  

  •  Amateur Radio- Now a days building projects are a lot different. Most of the time it is just thinking about what I should be working on. See my shack link or the Mobile link for details. 

  • Corvette &  Street Rod- Well I have been a proud owner of a 59 Corvette, also owned a 73, and a 74. currently own a 84, or dose it own me! I also have a 51 Chevy 3 window PU all stock, and a 46 Ford  Street rod, 46 body sitting on a 71 chevelle frame, we call it a Chford. 

  • Reminiscing- Well for some of us reminiscing  is a hobby , You can do it any where, dose not cost anything, You don't have to have anything, You can start and stop anytime you like, You just sit there with a smile on your face and everyone wonders what your up to. You can fill in the gaps in your day this way. Now you  can enhance the process by playing  some toons, in you head, that's ok, or on your iPod, like "Toby Keith - " As Good As I Once Was" and having  your favorite beverage like, Rc Cola, an 807 or maybe something home made! Oh Yea!
