Emergency Medical Services
I was a first responder almost 20 years ago. It was a rush to help
people and I dedicated myself to getting back into it. A very good friend of my wife, who has been an EMT for a number of years, helped me restart, and now I am an EMT with New Jersey and National certifications. It
takes alot of time, but every second is worth it. I recently received a commendation for a particular rescue.I am lucky being a member of a great squad that emphasizes dedication to patient care, excellence and
teamwork.
Actually ARES was my first introduction to Public Service Way back
in High School I was active in all sorts of public serice events providing communications. It peaked my interest in doing more and I believe led in part
to my EMT status today... (My family has been incredibly supportive of the long study hours involved and hours away while “on call” They were a big part of my becoming an EMT.) (more)
