The Meriden Amateur Radio Club (MARC) is a full service organization by and for those interested in the Amateur Radio Service or similar aspects of communications. MARC serves the Amateur community in and around central Connecticut as a civic and benevolent organization. It is recognized by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) as a Special Service Club.MARC welcomes members, licensed Amateurs and the public to its meetings held on the second (business meeting) and fourth (activity meeting) Thursday of each month. MARC meetings begin at 7:30 PM at the B.E.W Building (Wallingford Civil Defense Building), 284 Washington Street, Wallingford, Conn. We are in the new Wallingford Senior Center complex.Contact any MARC officer or committee chair, drop us an e-mail, or come to any of our meetings. New members are voted in at each business meeting. You may print a copy of our member application and bring it to a meeting or mail it to our membership chair. The Meriden Amateur Radio Club holds a club call of W1NRG and is proud of its fully equipped HF and VHF station. MARC is also the sponsor of the Castle Craig Chapter of Ten-Ten International.Mail to: |
