Sunday Morning Breakfasts - Search For New Venue

Beyond the mandatory annual business meeting as called out by our Constitution, we have now dispensed with "long and boring" formal business meetings, and in their place have instituted a schedule of very informal, weekly meetings...over coffee and breakfast at a local restaurant.  After a short (very short!) business meeting, everyone then enjoys a hearty Sunday morning breakfast and/or coffee served up by the friendly restaurant staff.

Until recently, LCRC's Sunday morning breakfast meetings were conducted every Sunday at the Bridge Tavern located immediately beside the Blue Water Bridge in Point Edward, Ontario.  However, with the indefinite closure of that establishment, we are now searching for a new Sunday Morning breakfast venue.

In the interim...and as we will be trying out several different local restaurants in our search for a new "home"...please stay tuned to our local LCRC Repeater (145.370 (-) Tone 123) or our new Facebook Page for the very latest information on that search...including where we will be meeting for the next few Sunday mornings.

 Wednesday Luncheons

A large group of LCRC members and others have also been gathering every Wednesday at a local restaurant for a hearty lunch and some vibrant (often lively!) discussions...not only about amateur radio, but also about other news of the world in general.

Currently, LCRC's weekly luncheon meetings are being conducted at the Stokes Inland Restaruant on Lambton Mall Road in Sarnia, Ontario (just across the street from the western side of the Lambton Mall) on Wednesdays starting at 11:45 AM.

During the meeting, patrons can order lunch, and beverages (including those of the "adult" variety) off the menu, or they can partake of one of the restaurant's outstanding (and very reasonably priced!) luncheon specials.

As with our Sunday Morning breakfasts, visitors to the local area and prospective new members are always welcome to join us, so, once again, consider this your personal invitation!
