Freeware for Hams

DXLab by AA6YQ includes pretty much everything... Logging (DxKeeper), rig control (CI-V Commander), psk/rtty (Winwarbler), grayline-map, prefixes, spot collection, etc, etc, All for free but working a whole lot better than many commercial software.

MM Hamsoft by JE3HHT has RTTY-engine (MMTTY) and SSTV-software (MM-SSTV) for use with a computer soundcard as standalone or with other ham software (like DXLab). There is also other freeware on the site.

Ham Radio Deluxe by HB9DRV good looking SW for rig control, ham-maps, psk31, etc.... Can be made to work together with DxLab.

IC706 Memory Manager This can be used to program the memory-locations of the IC-706. Not too fancy but a free utility anyway.

Scanner Recorder by Dave Jacobs is a free and easy to use recording software for automatic recording from radio.

About Time by Paul Lutus is a small utility to keep your computer in accurate time by synchronising to web servers automatically.
