QRP... Low power operation... Portability... Solar Power... Battery operation... Simplicity... Homebrewing... Challenge... These are what draw hams from around the world to run less than five watts to communicate with other hams. I almost exclusively use QRP. My main radio, a QRP rig, is the Elecraft K2. My small QRP rig is an SW-40+ made by Small Wonder Labs. It performs wonderfully, and is recommended by many QRPers. It was also the subject of the Elmer 101 course. It was given to me by Jim, K8IQY, who assembled it. I have been working on many projects. Somehow, almost none of them get finished. Here is the ultimate QRP links page.
