After going thru 5 Total Knee replacements in 2.5yrs I find myself in a wheelchair with 1 remaining leg that has an un-removable, failed prosthetic knee. I was fortunate to find a Handicap van in my price range. This has brought a satisfactory amount of freedom outside of the QTH. Bob Meadows WV4B, a great friend and neighbor helped with the antenna installations, fishing coax and routing 40A service for the radios. My nephew, Joe Robertson KI4JOE provided labor for air-conditioning, heater rebuild and general mechanic work.

An isolated 12v , 70amp battery system is in place for field communications in VHF or HF. Portable antennas and masts store out of sight in compartments in the �top cap�.
