DUES DUES DUES
If you haven't
paid your dues yet, please send them in. We need the help in getting the
treasury up so that we can pay bills. I know the club has not had a lot
of activity be we are trying to change that. Your support will greatly
help. Those of you that are life members, if you would like to just send
a small donation, that will be helpful. Thanks' to those who have sent
in their dues and those who sent in donations.
March of Dimes
We need volunteers
to help with communications for the March of Dimes on Saturday, April
30th, 2011. We need at least 5 people with either mobile radios or HT's
with enough battery supply to last for 4 to 5 hours of normal use. We
will be using 145.11 and 444.950 PL 100hz. These two repeaters are tied
together all the time so either band can be used. They will be setting
up at Hanford West High School on Campus Drive. The event registration
begins at 8am and the walk is at 9am. They would like the club
volunteers to be there between 7 and 7:30 am so that we can be out on
the course route when it starts. The March for Babies route will
basically be the same as last year. They expect the walk and event to be
finished approximately 12 noon. If you can help volunteer, please

CARP T-Hunt March 19
If you want to join in on the Clovis
Club's Transmitter hunt, the next
one will be on Saturday March 19th
at 2:00 pm. This will be after the
festivities of the M2 Open House
Event. The start point will be M2
and the transmitter will be within
15 miles of the start point. For
those of you who have been asking,
this hunt the transmitter will NOT
be mobile.
