When a ham radio operator sends Morse code for the letters CQ, it sounds like the following: "Dah-Dit-Dah-Dit, Dah-Dah-Dit-Dah". Any amateur radio operator who has Morse code skills knows these sounds; are coming from an amateur radio radio operator sending an invitation for a conversation - (QSO). The letters QSO stand for a two way conversation via amateur radio.
