We operated all HF Bands from 40m-10m (Including WARC) plus 6m in SSB, CW and various Data modes. Up to 3 stations have been active at once. Over the day, 2 stations were operating on HF and the third station wass beaconing on 50.110 MHz, in the night all three stations could operate on 3 different HF-Bands simultanously.

For HF, an A3S (3-el Yagi 10/15/20m) and an A3WS (3-el Yagi 12/17m + 30m dipole), a Carolina-Windom and a 40m-wire-vertikal have been used. The two HF-Stations were both equipped with a FT-900 kindly lent to us by CDXC and one PA which ran on the main-station. The third station for 6m and HF used a IC-756PROII very kindly loaned to us by Icom and a 5-el Yagi for 50 MHz. All antennas were about 10m agl. and very close to the sea with a free takeoff to both JA and EU/USA! Our WWL was MJ64IT (determined by GPS).

To avoid missing any 6m-opening, the our beacon was calling CQ on 50.110 MHz all day long, and the audio from the 6m-receiver was re-transmitted on 145 MHz in FM. This way we were able to monitor 6m while lying at the beach with a handheld radio!

We operated around the following frequencies in split mode (mostly). We did not operate lists or by numbers.
The main 2 modes were of course be SSB and CW (with CW the most popular.) But we also operated Data modes including RTTY and PSK31.
