    British, aged 19, Mark is currently working towards a career in the aviation industry having successfully completed his 'A' levels in July 2001.
    First licensed as 2E1ERN in 1996 and became 2EØAPH later that year. He gained his Full Class A callsign, MØDXR, in April 2000.
    In 1997 he was Runner-up in the 'Young Amateur of the Year' competition, Finalist in 1998 and winner of the title in 1999.
    Has given numerous presentations on amateur radio over the last four years, including after dinner speeches to local Rotary Clubs and addressing delegates at the 1998 AMSAT-UK Colloquium.
    Mark has organised a number of special event stations including two at the Clacton-on-Sea Lifeboat Station, raising money for the RNLI. He has worked approximately 170 DXCC countries.
    Since 1996 he has helped 16 students through the Novice Radio Amateurs Examination. He runs regular CW classes at the Harlow radio club and has assisted members in obtaining their MØ and M5 callsigns.
    He was a CW instructor at a Morse 'training camp' last year and is now an RSGB Morse Examiner.
    Mark was a key operator at M2ØØØA at Greenwich over the Millennium period.
    He is active on all bands 80m - 70cm on CW, SSB, FM, RTTY and packet. His main interest is CW, with sending speeds up to 50WPM, but is comfortable sending / receiving at 35WPM.
    He has taken part in many major HF / VHF contests, including several at RSGB headquarters.
    Mark's experience of Dxpeditioning began last year as he was the youngest member of the highly successful record breaking D68C trip to the Comoros.
