WSJT VERSION HISTORY

WSJT was first introduced in 2001 and has been updated many times. The principal new features of recent versions are listed below in reverse chronological order. Click here to see a full history of program updates back to version 2.0.

4.7.0 Includes version 2.0 (build 213) of Spectran, by I2PHD and IK2CZL. WSJT and Spectran can run simultaneously.

4.6.1 Full release of Version 4.6. Much improved AFC in JT65 modes, new user manual, and many other goodies

4.5.1 Maintenance release: several bug fixes and enhancements.

4.5.0 More powerful decoder for JT65; new modes FSK441B and FSK441C with FEC features.

4.3.4 New modes JT65B and JT65C, with wider tone spacing.

4.2.1 Enhancements and bug fixes for JT65.

4.0.0 New mode JT65, with forward error correction. JT44 dropped from this version.

3.8.1 Many small enhancements and bug fixes. This is the latest released version that supports JT44.

3.6.4 Several improvements to JT6M.

3.0.0 The most recent "full release" of WSJT. It includes a 50-page User's Guide and Reference Manual in PDF format.
