MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD AT THE TAHUNA FUNCTION CENTRE NELSON, ON SUNDAY 2ND JUNE 2002 AT 9AM

WELCOME:Cathy ZL2ADK ( standing in for the President Bev ZL1OS) welcomed members and visitors to the meeting.
PRESENT: ZL2ADK( in the Chair), ZL1ALK, ZL3UD, ZL3TCR, ZL3DYL, ZL4AN, ZL3AAB, ZL2VQ and ZL3TNT.

SILENT KEYS: A minute's silence was observed in memory of Gwen Leslie ZL2OI and Noelle Godfrey who passed away during the past year.
MINUTES: The minutes of the Annual General Meeting held 3rd June 2001 were taken as read and adopted . ZL1ALK/ ZL4AN
MATTERS ARISING: It was noted that the Consitution had been amended, printed and distributed to all members.
PRESIDENT'S REPORT: On behalf of Bev ZL1OS, Cathy ZL2ADK read the President's Report. This was received with thanks to Bev for her work. ZL2ADK/ ZL3UD
ELECTION OF OFFICERS:
PRESIDENT: Bev Osborne ZL1OS
VICE-PRESIDENT: Rosemary Boshier ZL1RO
SECRETARY: Rhondalin Houghton ZL1RBH
TREASURER: No nomination had been received, and Sharron ZL3AE is prepared to continue for the next year if necessary. Margaret ZL3UD said she would be willing to do the job if she could have help from the present treasurer in ensuring that her computer programme could be used. Moved by ZL4AN, seconded by ZL3AAB that Margaret ZL3UD take Treasurer's job subject to discussion with Sharron ZL3AE and confirmation of the WARO Executive.
