Fred - Zl1BUP
Fred was also a founding member of S.A.R.G. In a lot of cases, if it was not for Fred, we would not be where we are now. He hunted down the site, and the best deals for the group.
Starting his interested in radio with CB radio, he quickly got himself on the Ham bands, and was quickly known around on this. Has a number of friends throughout the world because of Ham Radio. Currently not able to come on HF due to his tower having to come down, Metal Worm.
Well known in the district for his knowledge of building good high-power power supplies, and antenna tuners for open-wire feeders.

He loves to travel, and has traveled to a few countries, including several US States - Has visited USA, UK, Russia, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, Hawaii, and Ukraine.

He is married to a wonderful Lady, Natalia and has 2 girls, Stacey and Rochelle.

Ann - Zl1TRH
Ann.

Dennis - ZL1UET
Dennis is the group's technical advisor, and has set the repeaters up to the standard they are today. He was at the beginning when the repeater started out as a modified Tait hand-held. Dennis works for Telecom NZ, as one of their main technicians. Has brought to the repeater group a lot of experience and knowledge. Primary worked with Tait Electronics radio equipment. He believes that once the repeater is setup, it should be left alone, and this has enabled the ZL1HK repeater to work as it has for a number of years.
