The Pye Linkline is an interface unit that connects VHF and UHF radios together to provide a crossband repeater. This sysytem is used to provide an officer with UHF portable radio coverage in areas where there are only VHF repeaters.

Linkline equipment can be fitted in patrol vehicles, or as in the unit pictured, mounted in a carying case for use in situations where it is necessary to provide a link between UHF and VHF radios.

The Ministry of Transport used Pye P125 VHF and P425 UHF moble radios with the linkline unit.
