EXCELLENT HOMEMADE MOXON ANTENNA FOR UHF (430 - 440 MHz)

- Cheap, lightweight compact antenna which is easy to made.

- Excellent performance, clean main diagram and amazing Front/Back ratio.

- Moxon antenna has deep and sharp back null in the radiation patern, which sometimes can be very usefull to reject the unwanted interfering signal.

- Gain = 6.15 dBi (4 dBd compared to dipole).

- Antenna has very low SWR across wide frequency range (covers entire UHF band 430-440 MHz).

- Coaxial cable (50 ohm) is connected directly to the driven element.

Antenna length is only 247 mm

Antenna width is only 92 mm

All elements are made from brass electrode for electric welding 2.5 mm diameter (can be also made of copper wire 6mm2 which is 2.6mm in diameter). Material can bi find in every hardware store

The boom is plastic pvc pipe for plumbing installations.
