Motor Mounts



I used the factory fluid filled motore mounts initally, then made a bracket that bolted to the left cylinder head, and ran a chain from it to a clevis mount in the K member. This worked fine for a temporary solution to the weak motor mounts.

The mount on the left is billett aluminum, with a very hard polyurethane core. The one on the right is the factory one, which is heavy steel with a liquid filled center.



You can see how easy it is to get at the motor mounts on my carburated engine in the pictures below.





The drivers side is a lot easier also, with out the A/C and hoses in the way. You can also see the new steering shafts and joints that were needed for good headers. The Long Tubes will go in soon.
