WC9C's Beacon Observations
On this page I will be posting as time permits some of my
observation of propagation Beacons and other like signals.
I'm hoping to do more this winter as time permits and also
to automate the monitoring process. If anyone has or knows

Below is an Observation of the 28.200 world
wide propagation beacons IARU/NCDXF
as you can see as time progressed how the band changed back
and forth.

Here is an interesting one that just popped out of the noise
VP8ADE
Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas)
28.284 10Mar98 22:27z Strong signal little
or no QSB, Here is the message.
VP8ADE ANT ARC ------
On the second spectrum you can see that it
faded into the noise as quick as it appeared
The interference was from SA/CA AM phone stations.
I'm going to update the below observation

the noise, I was only able to copy
the above with the head
phones and using the DSP filter, Very weak
signal. I came back and
monitored for 30 more mins the signal
never reappeared.
