W6ELProp Download Site

W6ELProp predicts ionospheric (sky-wave) propagation between any two locations on the earth on frequencies between 3 and 30 MHz. There is no charge for W6ELProp when used for non-commercial purposes.

This is the primary W6ELProp distribution site. Any new version of W6ELProp will first be available at this site.

Version 2.70 permits the user to specify a terminal location by its IARU Grid Locator, and permits the user to optionally display areas for only one prediction frequency at a time in the Frequency Map.

Minimum system requirements:: Windows® 95, 98, ME, XP, 2000, or NT; 2 MB Ram; 2 MB disk space; 800x600 256 color monitor or better recommended (but not required)

Follow these steps to get W6ELProp running on your computer:: 1. Download (below) the executable W6ELProp installation file (W6ELPropInst270.EXE).; 2. Run (execute) W6ELPropInst270.EXE.; 3. Click the W6ELProp icon on the Desktop (or click Start, click Programs, and navigate to the W6ELProp Propagation Prediction group where you can click W6ELProp).
