              Total for all these upgrades: $63.22

              Added onto the cost of the printer ($164.69) = $227.91

              Divided by the current number of persons opted in (10) $22.79

              For the number of people that have opted in for all-access to
              the ANET A8 3D printer, each person will pay out only $22.79.
              That number goes up of course if people change their mind or
              down if more people join the project.                             


I found a ton of YT videos on this printer, and there is an equal amount of discussion groups etc. After looking around for quite a while I found one YT upgrade review and explanation that covers the reasoning for these upgrades in regards to the safety issues addressed. The video is worth watching for your information and gives a really good look into what the assembly and inner workings of the machine are. Take a look:
