Spotter Reporting

If possible, all reporting of severe weather should be to a local "Net Control Operator*", who will gather all reports from our area and pass them on to the NWS in North Little Rock, Arkansas and to local Emergency Management Personnel.

It is preferred that reporting be done via radio**. Many more reports can be taken in a given time and the reports can be heard by all persons monitoring that frequency.

If the spotter is not a licensed Amateur Radio Operator*** or a member of a Public Service agency, reports can be made via telephone to the local Net Controller.
