Holy Quran

Nor are alike those That are living and those That are dead. Allah can Make any that He wills To hear; but thou Canst not make those To hear who are (Burried) in graves. [Holy Quran 35.22]

Operation Death

It was early in the morning at four, when death knocked upon a bedroom door. Who is there? The sleeping one cried. I am Angel Izrael, let me inside.

At once the man began to shiver, As one sweating in deadly fever. He shouted to his sleeping wife. Dont let him take away my life.

Please go away. O Angel of Death! Leave me alone Im not ready yet. My family on me depend. Give me a chance. O please perpend.

The Angel knocked again and again. Friend Ill take your life without pain. It is your soul that Allah requires, I come not with my own desire.

Bewidered, the man began to cry. O Angel! Im so afraid to die. Ill give you gold, and be your slave. Dont send me to the unlit grave.

Let me in, O Friend, the Angel said. Open the door, get up from your bed . If you do not allow me in, I will walk through it, like Jinn.

The man held a gun in his right hand. Ready to defy the Angels stand. Ill point my gun, towards your head. You dare come in, Ill shoot you dead.

By now the Angel was in the room. Saying , O Friend! Prepare for your doom. Foolish man Angels never die. Put down your gun and do not sigh.

Why are you afraid! Tell me man to die according to Allahs plan? Come smile at me, do not be grim. Be happy to return to Him.

O Angel! I bow my head in shame. I had no time to take Allahs name. From morn till dusk, I made my wealth, Not even caring for my health.

Allahs commands, I never obeyed. Nor five times a day, I ever prayed Holy Ramadan came, and went. But no time had I to repent.

The Hajj was already Fard on me. But I would not part with my money. All charities I did ignore. Taking usury more and more.

Sometimes I ate a bit of swine. With flirting women, I sat to dine. O Angel! I appeal to you , spare my life for a year or two.

The laws of Quran I will obey . Ill begin the Salah, this very day. My Fast and Hajj, I will complete and keep away from self-conceit.

We Angels do what Allah demands, We cannot go against His commands. Death is ordained for everyone, Father, mother, daughter or son.

Im afraid, this moment is your last. Now be reminded , more of your past. I do understand your fears, But it is now too late for tears.

You lived in this world, two score or more. Never did you, your people adore. Your parents, you did not obey. Hungry beggars, you turned away.

You ignored the Muazzins Azaan, Nor did you read the Holy Quran , Breaking promises all your life, Backbiting friends, and causing strife.

From hoarded goods, great profits you made And your poor workers, were underpaid. Horses and cards were your leisure, Money making was your pleasure.

You ate enough and grew more fat, With the very poor you never sat. A pint of blood, you never gave, Which could a little baby save.

O human, you have done enough wrong, You brought good properties for a song When the farmers appealed to you. You did not have mercy, Isnt it true?

Paradise for you? I cannot tell, Allah may or may not dwell you in Hell. There is not time for you to repent, Ill take your soul, for which Im sent.

The ending, however, is very sad, Eventually, the man became mad. With a cry, he jumped out of bed. And suddenly, he fell down dead.

O Reader, take a moral from here, Never know, your end may be near. Change your living and make amends, For Heaven, on your deeds, depends.

No living being knows the time of its end.
Man makes provisions for a hundred years,
yet knows not that he might die the next minute.

Oh Almighty Allah! bless us in death and what follows after death. Aameen!!

Wake Up Before It Is Too Late

The Lion, Rats, Snake and the Honey comb - A Beautiful Example

Hopefully, this story will be beneficial for everyone, Insha Allah.

Once a man saw in his dream that a lion was chasing him, the man ran to a tree, climbed on to it and sat on a branch. He looked down and saw that the lion was still there waiting for him. The man then looked to his side where the branch he was sitting on was attached to the tree and saw that two rats were circling around and eating the branch. One rat was black and the other one was white. The branch would fall on the ground very soon. The man then looked below again with fear and discovered that a big black snake had come and settled directly under him. The snake opened its mouth right under the man so that he will fall into it. The man then looked up to see if there was anything that he could hold on to. He saw another branch with a honeycomb. Drops of honey were falling from it. The man wanted to taste one of the drops. So, he put his tongue out and tasted one of the fallen drops of honey. The honey was amazing in taste. So, he wanted to taste another drop. As he did, he got lost into the sweetness of the honey. Meanwhile, he forgot about the two rats eating his branch away, the lion on the ground and the snake that is sitting right under him. After a while, he woke up from his sleep.

To get the meaning behind this dream, the man went to a a pious scholar of Islam. The scholar said 'The lion you saw is your death. It always chases you and goes where ever you go. The two rats, one black and one white, are the night and the day. Black one is the night and the white one is the day. They circle around, coming one after another, to eat your time as they take you closer to death. The big black snake with a dark mouth is your grave. It's there, just waiting for you to fall into it. The honeycomb is this world and the sweet honey is the luxuries of this world. We like to taste a drop of the luxuries of this world but it's very sweet. Then we taste another drop and yet another. Meanwhile, we get lost into it and we forget about our time, we forget about our death and we forget about our graves.'

Don't wait for six strong men to take you to the masjid. Call Allah before He calls you. Pray before you are prayed upon. Remember death before death remembers you.
