THE WORLD'S WORST SHORTWAVE RADIO?

You're in a discount shop and you see one of these radios pictured above on the shelf. "Its cheap" you think and it might be nice to have an inexpensive shortwave radio to take along with you on vacation to listen to the BBC or the news from home.
Don't buy this radio! Its JUNK!
The Wellson MT-900 is made for the Chinese market and doesn't tune most of the recognized international shortwave broadcasting bands. Even on the few spots on the dial where it does tune some correct segments of the shortwave broadcast bands it is so badly manufactured that it doesn't receive any shortwave signals at all!
It does sort of "work" on the regular mediumwave AM and the FM broadcast band...but just barely.
Save your money and buy a real radio!
