product may be used for Amateur Radio Communications as part of the WinLink
2000 Global Network.
The
WinLink 2000 Beta testing phase is now complete. As of
August 19th, 2000, WL2K has been extensively tested for over a year
with up to 20 PMBO (Participating Mailbox BBS Operator)
installations world wide. The product is now available for
public use.

NOTE:
Before you can install a copy of WinLink 2000 PMBO software,
you need to contact either N8PGR, KN6KB
or K4CJX to receive an
installation serial number which will be branded to your call sign.
Currently, those who were WinLink/NetLink stations are being converted
to WinLink 2000.
Before
you begin to download and install the WinLink 2000 software
make sure to carefully read the Installation
Document. It contains important information like
minimum system requirements, installation instructions, configuration
help and more.
To
download the PMBO installer "PMBOSetup.exe" (about 150KB) click
here. Once downloaded, execute this program which will
launch the full installation process.
To
download the PMBO Scanner " ScanSetup.exe" click
here. Once you have this program on your computer, you will
install it by clicking on the executable you downloaded.

modules and existing PMBOs.
