SSTARS as the syrian radio amateur society presents to you the follows:

  1. Training on amateur radio to help you pass the examinations for getting the license from the STE (Syrian Telecommunications Establishment).

           The training includes:

a)      Learning the Morse code.

b)      Principles of electricity, electronics and radio.

c)      Radio procedure.

 

  1. The society presents also training on advanced subjects in amateur radio telecommunications such as digital telecommunications, fax and the Slow Scan TV  etc.

 

  1. The Technical Institute of Radio has a radio club which has a state-of-the-art radio station. Any licensed Syrian amateur can operate from it.

 

  1. TIR has a wealthy library of books and magazines and all kinds of documents about amateur radio.
