2. Our equipment
At present time for operating on HF we are using:
- Yaesu transceiver FT747GX, which was donated by DJ1KM;
- SOMMERKAMP FT250, which was donated by DD0XB;
- ICOM 738, which was presented by Icom company.
If necessary, we use a homemade linear amplifiers 200 watts output with tubes:
- 4x811;
- 3xGU50;
- GU74b from Svetlana.
Our separate standing antenna systems are:
- a loop 160 meter long for 160 and 80 m bands;
- 4 elements cubical quad for 20,15,10 m bands at 25 meters high; (at the left) - our main antenna.
Since the last reconstruction in 1993 it was working very well up to that moment when on 02 July 2002 tornado damaged anchor guy of the mast at the right and this mast (21 meter long) with all antennas at the top fell down onto our main antenna.

 Here You see our main antenna in Dec 2002. Due to a very kind help of DJ2JN, DJ3FR, W0RHT, DC6MR, DJ1SEC, N3FX, LX1DW, F8IJV, HB9CNY, DL9KBB, OE3FZA, DL4BA, G4DWP, DJ8RC, who helped out us, sent their help just for repair on our antennas. |
- 4 elements cubical quad for 10 m band and 12 m band at 44 meters high, 4 ele sloper for 40 m band.
It was made in Oct' 2000 and since that time even a hurricane 110 kmph could not damage it, but tornado could.
So now we are able to operate just with the last
- 4 elements cubical quad for 17,15,12 m bands at 30 meters high
untill we restore damaged antennas...
For operating on VHF we are using:
- Yaesu FM transceiver FT23R, which was donated by DJ1KM;
- Standard FM transceiver C 89000, which was donated by DJ1KM;
Our antenna for VHF is Ground Plane made by UA9MQ and 9 el Yagi made by UA9ND.
For operating on UHF we are using:
- Yaesu FM transceiver FT73R, which was donated by DJ1KM;
- Kenwood FM transceiver TM421E, which was donated by DL1SEC;
Our antenna for UHF is 7 el Yagi made by UA9MJ.
For operating on SHF (23 cm) we are using:
- Kenwood FM transceiver TM942A(tribander - 144MHz/50W, 440MHz/35W, 1300MHz/10W), aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa which we could buy here in Russia due to help of many of our friends;
Our antenna for SHF is helix 8 convolutions made by RU9MA.
