 March CQ Magazine has a good article by George Jacobs showing how these
 can be put to use for propagation predictions.

 As seen above, the low solar levels have had a devastating effect on
 the F2 MUF's in the VHF band. One only has to compare this with the
 loggings in the VUD for 1971-74.
