The border Germany/Poland (DE/PL)

De grens Duitsland/Polen (DE/PL)
	These bordermarkers, nr. 920 are near the bordercrossing Ahlbeck (Germany-DE) and Swinoujscie (Poland-PL) on the divided island Usedom. The little marker in the middle is on the actual border. Top is DE; bottom is PL. The red/white marker is Polish. The black/red/yellow is the German marker. GBBE 2003-07-10
Deze grenspalen met nr. 920 staan bij de grensovergang Ahlbeck (Duitsland-DE) and Swinoujscie (Polen-PL) op het gedeelde eiland Usedom. De kleine paal in het midden markeert de eigenlijke grens. Bovenaan ligt DE, onder aan PL. De rood-witte paal is Pools, de zwart-rood-gele is de Duitse grenspaal.

Grensstation Ahlbeck-DE/Swinoujscie-PL gezien vanuit Polen. Het passeren van de grens is alleen toegestaan voor voetgangers en fietsers. GBBE-teamlid Mike is op weg naar Duitsland. Het leek er op dat veel Duitsers speciaal naar Polen gaan om goedkoop in te kopen.

	Further North. The fence is moving away from the real border. Or is it the aother way around? The bordermarkers nr. 923 in the distance are the northernmost markers on the DE/PL border. GBBE 2003-07-10
Verder noordwaarts. Het hek beweegt zich weg van de echte grens. Of is het net andersom? De grenspalen nr. 923, hier zichtbaar, zijn de meest noordelijke grenspalen op de DE/PL grens.
