These columns are presented as is, maintaining typographical errors (and perhaps
adding some new ones!) The May 1970-April 1972 issues were done by cutting
gelatin stencils for mimeographing. Sometimes the color pages used back then
didn't much enhace the print readability. Headers and other diagrams are as
faithfully reproduced as possible. After going to offset printing the use of
these did increase substantially. In cases where clarity has been compromised
for "page fit" a more full-sized display may be examined by using the
browser right mouse button to view the image. The 1979-1981 are 100-dpi
JPEG scans so with slower-speed connections will take a while to load.
If saving these pages be aware that much of the image spacing is done by
using transparent images and some of the underlining are also the products
of GIF's.
