Club gets a website...The Northland Amateur Radio Club: The Northland Amateur Radio Club now has the call W9BCY after a very good field day under KB9VOZ.. Next year we will be W9BCY,Wally Johnson's old call ,a tribute to Wally for all that he did for amateur radio in the Ashland area. If you were to mention HAM radio to anyone around the Ashland area they would always think of Wally. He was a good ambsitor for the hobby,with his activites dring the Veit nam war he ran over 20,000 phone patches for the military. He also had schedules with his friends world wide . He worked one one of the first repeaters in the area. He was ready to help with problem you might have. The Northland Amateur Radio club website was put up on Saturday, February 14, 1998.
