This is [ your call ] calling the Lincoln County Volunteer Communications net for the purpose of a drill. My name is [ your name ] and I will be net control for tonight. This is a directed net and all non-member stations are asked to please stand by unless there is an emergency. Emergency traffic has priority.

Lincoln County Volunteer Communications supports RACES and NC AUXCOMM. Are there any liaisons to any ARES, RACES, AUXCOMM NTS or other local nets? Please call net control or [ your callsign ].

All full members please stand by to check in. When calling, please give your callsign, both phonetically and alphabetically, name, location, and whether you are on commercial or emergency power.

The mission for Lincoln County Volunteer Communications is to make sure that in the event of an emgergency or disaster communications are maintained. Everyone with a radio and a license is a factor in achieving this goal.

That said any non-member stations that would like to check into the Lincoln County Volunteer Communications net please call net control or [ your callsign ].

Announcements

One last call for any station anywhere for the Lincoln County Volunteer Communications net. If you have a radio and a callsign please call net control or [ your callsign ] now.

We would like to encourage everyone listening to check into our weekly net. We are here on thie frequency every Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM. We would like to invite everyone to attend our meetings on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. We meet at 151 Sigmon Rd, Lincolnton, NC, starting at 7:00 PM with fellowship starting at 6:00 pm. We test on the 3rd Thursday so study to get a new license or upgrade on your ticket.

This ends the formal portion of the net at a time of [ the time ]. We would like to thanks Danny Turner for theuse of the 442.350 repeater which is linked during this net. We appreciate all the work he does to keep this repeater up and running.
