Welcome to Brad's Scanner Page. I am located in Jacksonville, Texas (Cherokee County; Grid EM 21). I began my monitoring "career" in 1986 when I received a scanning monitor radio (a Bearcat 200) for my 14th birthday. Since that time, I have earned my amateur (ham) radio license, which was in 1992 (N5ZIS). In 1997, I bought a Radio Shack PRO-2039 with 200 channels to increase my listening capacity. This page is dedicated to frequencies in the Northeast Texas area. All frequencies listed are in megahertz (MHz).
