3.0.3 FUNCTIONAL CONTROL
The Servo is based on a pulse width modulated (PWM) chopper design
for use with a brushless DC servo motor. It incorporates protection
circuits to guard against external short circuits, power faults, and
overheating of the drive or motor. The servo drive has been configured
for velocity following mode. The tuning potentiometers are preset and
should not be adjusted. If the PID (Proportion, Integration, and
Differentiation) loop requires adjustment, tuning is accomplished through
software (consult factory for further info).
