The 444.375+ repeater on Cowee Mountain near Franklin, NC, uses a Cushcraft antenna mounted only about 22 feet off the ground. I'm using about fifty feet of LMR-400 feedline, and a Motorola 1504 Duplexer. The main repeater is a Motorola Micor mobile (45 Watt). The Micor has been duplexed, and coupled to a Micro Computer Concepts controller. 
 

Sometimes a 131.8 Hz CTCSS tone is required for access.
 

      This repeater does not have autopatch services.
