Hereford Amateur Radio Society (HARS)
Hereford Amateur Radio Society runs a 3 port packet node, a 2 metre repeater and a 70cms repeater. The society also runs a successful Novice Radio Amateurs Examination (NRAE) course, and more recently a full Radio Amateurs Examination (RAE) course. Both courses are run on a Wednesday evening at the Hereford College of Technology.

Highfields Amateur Radio Club (HARC)

The Highfields Amateur Radio Club meet every Thursday night at Highfields Centre for the Physically Handicapped, Allensbank Road, Cardiff at 7.00pm (1900hrs) to 9.00pm (2100hrs) everybody is more than welcome to come along. The club is always open to radio hams, shortwave listeners or people than just wants to know what amateur radio is all about.
The club also holds courses for Radio Amateurs Examination (RAE) and learning Morse Code. If your interested, come along to the club on Thursday (club night) and ask to speak to Ken (CCK) or Sid (NQQ).

Newport Amateur Radio Society (NARS)
The Newport Amateur Radio Society meet most Monday evenings in Room 8, Brynglas House, Brynglas Road, Newport, Gwent from 7pm (1900hrs) to 9pm (2100hrs). There is usually someone around the club room (room 8) from about 6pm (1800hrs) onwards. The Club don't meet in the terms or bank holidays, etc.
The Club runs there own packet station mailbox (GW1NRS-2) and node (BGH) which you are quite welcome to log on if you have any enquires via packet, or just pop up on Club night and have a chat.
Pontypool Amateur Radio Society (PARS)

Pontypool ARS meets every Tuesday at 7pm (1900hrs) to 9pm (2100hrs) at the Great Western Staff Assn. Club. They also have a radio shack over at New Inn, Pontypool, the Old Recieving Station behind the Lower New Inn public house.

Gloucester Amateur Radio & Electronics Society (GARES)
