I got my ham radio licence LA5KI in my hometown Hamar. We were 3 kids training morse code and radio theory together, and I got the licence a couple of weeks before the other two. They were LA6DI and LA6FI. The day I got my ham license, I felt that I had achieved something special, and certainly I felt a burdon was off my shoulders, I didn't anymore need to do 1 hour morse code exercise every day for a year as I had just done.
