ALT+S enables/disables the SUMMARY window. This window shows you how many contacts you have by band and mode. This will display your station's statistics and any other networked stations' statistics. We will probably have two HF SSB stations linked for Field Day.
Note the it shows the total score for the logged contacts. In our example, there are 1000 points earned from various bonus categories (emergency power, publicity, etc.). Each voice contact is worth one point, but we get to double all those points because we are running 100 Watts. Therefore, 4 phone contacts times 2 equals 8. Add the 1000 bonus points, and we get the 1008 total.
