Here's the screen immediately after enter has been hit:
You can see the contact with KQ6JZ has been logged with an exchange of 1B EB. CT is now ready for another contact.
Let's pretend that we don't remember if there's already been a contact with KQ6JZ, so we enter the call again. As soon as the space or tab key is pressed, CT recognizes with duplicate entry and alerts you as shown below:
Note that CT automatically filled in the "1B" part of the exchange. That's because CT already knows the correct exchange from the prior log entry. CT will recognize the exchange for stations which have been logged on other bands, in other modes, and/or by other networked stations. That means that if the other station has already worked someone, you'll have all the exchange entered for you!
We'll leave data entry for now and start showing you the different screens available in CT.
