Hi! My name is Randy Holland. My hobbies include Flying and Amateur Radio.
I was first licensed by the FCC in June of 1992 as a Tech Plus (KD6LWU), and upgraded to Extra Class in September of 1994 (KO6KC). I have always been interested in flying, but it was my contacts through Ham Radio that allowed me to fulfill one of my long-time dreams.
I got my pilot's license in May of 1995 (just in time for my 30th birthday) and earned my instrument rating almost exactly a year later. Since then, I have enjoyed both of my hobbies immensely and continue to meet new and exciting people!
One of my favorite ham activities is T-Hunting. T-Hunting is a high-tech version of hide-and-seek where sophisticated equipment is often used to locate hidden transmitters. Check out my " T-Hunt " page for some cool pictures of a recent hunt!
