The main rig in the shack is a Icom IC-746. I also
bought a Icom SM-8 desk mic. They work very well together.
The antenna is a homebrew 160m dipole up
about 40 feet. Here is a link to my ICOM 746 page with

I also have a backup rig. It is a Yaesu FT-840. It was the
first hf rig that I bought and has also done a good job. I have made
alot of contacts with it.
I am a member of the Scott County Amateur Radio
Club and also 10-10 International
with a number of 72741.My wife Vickie also has her amateur license.
Her call is KG4KMP. She got her tech license in Nov. 2000.
I have also purchased a Icom IC-R10 Communication Receiver this Jan.
